Melissa + Chris | The Majestic Downtown A Sophisticated Soiree in LA

The Majestic Downtown has become one of the most popular venues with our couples. The building’s character and detailed architecture, paired with those breathtaking chandeliers make it an easy choice when picking a wedding location.

Melissa + Chris knew from the moment they walked into The Majestic that it was the one, and that’s the same we felt about them when we first met them. It was a perfect fit! We spent about a year planning the wedding of their dreams together, and their vision came together in perfect harmony.

They started the day getting ready at Level Furnished Living, which are these insanely swanky and stylish lofts in Downtown Los Angeles. We loved this option better than a standard hotel room because the lofts were much more roomy and had a ton of natural light so the photos were amazing. Liz Erban, our master photographer, had so much fun shooting the bride and groom in their respective lofts, utilizing the city skyline and balconies for some fun shots.

There were so many things that we loved about this wedding but I think the top 3 would include:

The handmade ceremony flower wall by the bride’s brother and sister in law.
The gorgeous greenery staircase that greeted guests as they entered the building (fun fact, that’s the same staircase in Jennifer Lopez’s video, “Dinero”).
The maids of honor and the best men were couples also so they’ve all shared their journeys together throughout the years!

Every wedding we experience some level of wedding withdrawals, but especially the ones that we plan from beginning to the end with the couples. So grateful to have been part of this journey with Mel & Chris!
