Erica + Joe | Camarillo Ranch A Non-Stop Party Under The Stars in Camarillo

One thing that we love is when we get to do a wedding for friends or family of a previous couple and that was exactly the case with Erica & Joe. Erica is best friends with one of our previous Love Anne Joy brides, and we were so excited and honored that she wanted to work with us after seeing us in action at Cheryl & Nick’s wedding.

They decided to get married on the most popular day of 2019, September 21st, due to that classic Earth Wind and Fire song, “September.” Come on, you know the lyrics!

The twenty first night of September?

Love was changing the minds of pretenders

While chasing the clouds away”

So of course when it was time to dance, that was the first song that kicked off the night and it was truly a non-stop party the entire time!

Camarillo Ranch served as the backdrop for their wedding day and it was absolutely perfect. The ceremony took place inside the magical Red Barn, decked out with ikebana style floral arrangements down the aisle and beautiful string lights above.

They incorporated cultural traditions on both sides which included selecting Sponsors (also known as Godparents) to join them in the processional and incorporating special elements like the cord, veil, and coin during the ceremony, which are common in Filipino culture. Afterwards, guests were invited outdoors to experience a Korean Paebaek ceremony during cocktail hour, which many guests had never seen before.

The rest of the evening took place under the stars and string lights of the venue. There was good food, lots of flowing drinks, and a surprise late night snack for the guests… the In-N-Out truck! Overall, there was a feeling of so much love and happiness in the air and that is the ultimate reason why we do what we do.
